Our Action Committee is dedicated to driving positive change within the music industry and beyond. Comprised of passionate individuals committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, our committee works tirelessly to create opportunities and foster an inclusive environment for artists from Black, Asian, and Minority communities.

Our Mission

The Action Committee’s mission is to advocate for underrepresented voices in the music industry, ensuring that every artist has the support and resources they need to succeed. We believe in the power of music to bring people together and inspire change, and we are committed to making a lasting impact.

Advocacy and Representation

Championing the rights and interests of artists from minority communities.

Promoting diversity and inclusion within the music industry.

Educational Initiatives

Offering workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs to help emerging artists navigate the music industry.

Providing resources and guidance on topics such as music production, marketing, legal matters, and rights management.

Community Engagement

Organizing events, concerts, and outreach programs to connect with the community and showcase our artists.

Collaborating with other organizations and stakeholders to amplify our impact.

Support and Resources:

      • Providing financial assistance, studio time, and promotional support to talented artists.
      • Assisting with the legal aspects of music production, including obtaining leases/full rights, clearing samples, and registering with performing rights organizations such as ASCAP or BMI.
      • Ensuring artists are paid royalties from purchases, streams, and other sources of revenue.
      • Advising artists to keep all paperwork handy for future reference.
